Hammered
In certain parts of Britain the pewter craftsmen were often called hammermen, due to their extreme skill at hammering pewter into the desired shape. This technique also created the distinctive hammered pattern that can be seen in this range of picture frames, bowls and tankard, which are inspired by pewter designs seen in the 1920's and 1930's when the hammered pattern was the most popular pewter finish. Delivery for these items is normally 5-10 days.
