Tudor bed, handmade in solid oak, in an early 4 poster style. This is a true 4-poster as the headboard posts are similarly shaped to the octagonal footboard posts and have the appearance of being almost separate from the oak panelled headboard. Further 16th century period bed details are the four hand carved parchemin panels at the centre of the tester ceiling, the square knops on the footpost turnings and the hand-turned finials at the four corners. Photo below illustrates bed made for a king size mattress (150 x 200) and finished in 'aged sienna'. Sizes and Prices drop down box gives details of bed suitable for super king size (180 x 200). Also available for small double (120 x 190)and double (135 x 190). Please enquire for these options. Price doesn't include mattress, or bed coverings.
