Massive Period Style Oak Pedestal Dining Table

A massive period style oak pedestal dining table, with paired supports (one would look too flimsy), turned in a 'marrow leg' design. Other notable features include three pedestal supports (necessary to support the large expanse of top) and twin, or paired, centre stretchers (necessary to add visual weight to the base of the piece). Note also the short added sections between the base of each of the turned supports. This detail keeps a constant top line from each of the shaped brackets. 

This table, described by our client soon after delivery, as "sensational", was a bespoke piece, designed between us, and made to hold its own in the dining room of their large Georgian manor house, in Gloucestershire. Of course, you don't have to commission one quite this big. It's bespoke so, as it'll be made for you, we can tailor the size to suit.

As a matter of interest, it was finished in a slightly darker shade of our 'Warm Chestnut' colour and 'Medium Aged'.
