A drawerleaf oak pedestal dining table, from our bespoke Wilmington dining room furniture range. Although this piece is period in style, there is no early existing extending table with a pedestal type base such as this. However, this design does fit perfectly with modern dining preferences, whilst retaining an antique furniture feel. Sort of sensible cheating if you like!

At its current size and in its closed position the table will seat six people comfortably, including one at each end, as the top still has a generous overhang. With both leaves extended, it will seat ten comfortably. At a push, it will accommodate twelve sitters, although that does make it a bit crowded at each end. But, the beauty of this, is it's bespoke, so we can adjust the size accordingly. The one we feature here was made specifically for our client and was worked out on our CAD program. using their room dimensions and existing furniture.

Additionally, this custom piece was constructed using joinery grade oak rather than character and, although finished in our 'Wash Back Antique' colour, was otherwise left 'As New' i.e. no physical ageing. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your own particular requirements.
