Detail shot of the period style moulding, on the footboard of our gothic style oak bed. This clearly shows the Greek Cavetto (the hollow part) and the Bow Tell (3/4 round), which makes up the top rail of the foot board. You can also see the swept stop of the post chamfer, which turns the square section into an octagonal, ready to take the 16th century style carved section.
