Our bespoke work comes in many forms and degrees. It could be something as simple and straightforward as a dimensional adjustment on one of our listed pieces, right through to a completely new and original design. Despite having around 500 different period and traditional furniture styles, here on our website, around 70% of our work encapsulates something somewhere between the two extremes above.

We are proud to be asked by our clients, on numerous occasions, to come up with something extra special based, not necessarily on a direct copy of an early piece, but an original in its own right, using period design elements from a specific historic time span. Whether that be Medieval, Early & Late Tudor, Elizabethan, Jacobean, Georgian or maybe even later periods.

Our managing directors lifetime interest and hands-on experience in domestic historic furniture and joinery, coupled with our large collection of reference books on the subject (some of which are long out of print), means we are in an unrivaled position to create something extra special for you. Something that encapsulates all the essence of a valuable antique original, but which incorporates custom elements that makes it user friendly in the 21st century.
