A typically 17th century styled oak panelled tester bed, with tapered octagonal cut foot posts, terminating with lambs tongue stop chamfers, Other period features include moulded cornice and channel moulded framework to headboard and tester ceiling panelling. On this example the panels themselves are plain flat but, being bespoke, these can be substituted for linenfold or parchemin carved panels, for example.
