Carved cup and cover oak bed foot-post option, available on our bespoke Wilmington four poster bed. For the technically minded, the 'cover' part of the carving is called 'gadrooned' and the 'cup' part design is 'acanthus leaf'. A method of furniture decoration fashionable throughout the Elizabethan period.
