Ball and fillet turning on the stretchers of this oak side table. The legs are also similarly hand turned. This method of decoration was commonplace on many pieces of oak furniture originating from the 17th century, particularly side tables and stools. The example shown here, is finished in our Chalvington range 'Warm Chestnut' colour, medium aged.
