Small oak folding table with pot-board and drawer. Based on our Chalvington bespoke range 'Hunt' table, this piece was adapted specially for our client, so they could use it to extend the usable length of their existing dining table, for special occasions. Folded out, it's the right size to gain another 4 sitters (see it here: Folding oak table used to extend client C17th dining table. The rest of the time, they  use it as a useful side table, against the wall of their dining room (see it here: Small folding side table in traditionally built Surrey home. We re-arranged the hinges so that they wouldn't interfere with dinner plates! We made a similar piece for another client. The actual table we made, and illustrated here in our 'Aged Sienna' colour, was taller than normal, to be the same height as their antique dining table (most early tables were higher than we are comfortable with now) with the top flaps folded out. The height dimension in the drop down below has been reduced to a more common height.

There is no reason why a table like this couldn't be used as a stand alone dining table. A similar length, but slightly wider would seat up to 4 people reasonably comfortably. From 150cms length would seat 6 people. Great for smaller dining rooms! Do feel free to contact us for advise.
