16th century Elizabethan style carved oak refectory table

16th century Elizabethan style oak refectory table, with twin centre stretchers. Period features include hand carved 'gadrooned' rails, bulbous turned cup and cover legs, again hand carved with 'gadrooning' and stylised acanthus leaves, under egg and dart carved capitals. The size stated below was specifically for our client and designed to seat eight - three comfortably down each side and one sitter at each end. The table was also made higher than modern standard (but historically correct), to suit higher than normal chairs. Being bespoke, we can adjust sizes to suit.
