Small heavy oak dining table

A small but heavily constructed oak dining table. We made this as a bespoke item for our client, along with matching benches for their kitchen, all in our Chalvington range 'Antique Straw' colour. You will notice that there is very little overhang either end, which is unusual for a refectory table. We did this to accommodate a maximum of 3 sitters between the table legs, without the table encroaching too far out into the kitchen. The fact that it would be awkward for someone to sit at the end wasn't important to our client. Because the top is relatively narrow, we were able to make it from just two boards.

Also, at our clients request, the legs are one piece i.e. not glued up. Of course, being bespoke we can make this table to any workable size and with end overhangs to the top as well.
