Cherrywood (fruitwood) dresser, with 7 drawer potboard base. A fine piece with many 18th century period features, including cockbeaded and crossbanded drawers, fielded panel storage cupboards built into the plate rack, moulded cornice, solid brass handles, solid cockbeaded and attractively shaped apron and hand turned baluster leg supports. Other marks of quality are the hand cut dovetail drawer boxes and traditionally pegged joints.
