18th century style oak radiator cover

Yes, we know, there was no such thing as a radiator cover, in the 18th century. Yet to blend such an ugly 21st century intrusion, that is the ubiquitous steel radiator, in a period interior, we can cheat a bit and borrow some design features from oak furniture of the 1700's. Features such as a heavily moulded edge top and bottom rail cover moulding, bun feet and octagonal moulded panels. The bun feet on this example, by the way, were each made in two parts, so they could be adjusted slightly to accommodate an uneven flagstone floor. All clever stuff at Early Oak Reproductions!

Of course, being a bespoke piece, we can make this cover to any radiator size, either subtracting a panel for smaller radiators, or adding for larger. Please enquire to get a quote. Although we fitted this particular piece (so that it just lifts off), the price below doesn't include fitting.
