" We really love our new furniture! They look exactly the way we wished and perfectly fit in our dining room. Excellent work." Mr Wernli, Switzerland
A 17th century style oak panel back dining chair. Handmade from solid oak and similar to our 'farthingale' upholstered chair, but with a fielded panel back and inset panel seat, ready to take a squab type cushion. Custom made for our client, in our 'Warm Chestnut' colour and 'Un-Aged' (As New), this model has a raised front stretcher (common on dining chairs from around 1680 onwards) so that it can be slid over the cruciform feet of the round dining table, also made for our client (see room scenes).
