A matching pair of bespoke oak dresser bases (from our Wilmington range), shown here, either side of the fireplace, in the period dining room of our clients Sussex village house. These two pieces were specifically made to fit into the two alcoves, so as to achieve the maximum storage and, at the same time, leaving sufficient room around them to retain the sense of space in this area of the room.
