Restored antique country furniture in old Surrey manor house

Kindly sent in by our client, this photo shows their restored antique country trestle table and ladderback chairs, in the dining room of their old Surrey manor house. The table refurbishment included cutting off the rounded end to the top and adding cleated ends to lengthen it. We also replaced the base stretcher, with a longer one to suit the lengthened top. The chairs were completely dismantled and re-glued. The existing deteriorated rush work was removed and new drop in upholstered seats were added. Both the table and chairs were completely stripped, re-coloured and re-polished. Behind them, against the wall is one of our Berwick semi-bespoke 3-drawer oak potboard dresser bases (link below).
