An oak panelled and hand carved Tudor style pencil bed. Bespoke designed and handmade in England, for our Sussex client, drawing inspiration from various original features and carvings from their mid 16th century Grade 2 Listed farmhouse.

Another great example of how we liaise closely with our clients, to ensure they end up with something extra special and unique to them. Successful teamwork really, between us and you. 

Note how the height of the posts are perfect for the headroom in their master bedroom. The other detail not immediately recognised, is the distance of the mattress from the floor. We make a point of asking what is your preferred height, so we can adjust the mattress rails accordingly. 

Carved headboard and posts, using original features of the house. The oak wall panelling, elsewhere in the house, was also noted and replicated closely on the headboard.

 The tops of both the headboard and foot board posts (both turned as 'doric' columns) were carved using motifs from the house.
