A view across the stunning bedroom of our clients circa 1540 Grade 11 Listed Sussex farmhouse, showing our meticulously designed, handmade and hand carved Tudor style oak bed. We say meticulous, because, note how the bed posts finish a comfortable short distance from the massive oak bridging beams and are sited centrally between them and the vertical studding behind the headboard. Still on that fastidious theme, the carved detail on the bed posts and panelled headboard, was inspired by the architectural details found elsewhere in this fascinating historic house.
